Cab bunk update.

After yesterday's hard work, I thought it would be nice to show Chloe her new bed......she loves it and didn't want to get out :)

Well as I am currently renovating a 1972 Beetle, I thought I best just get rid of some of the dreaded tin worm that was attacking Bobby (whilst I had the gear out).

Well I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it was (how many times have I heard this before......).

On a positive note, Gill and Paul gave me a length of awning rail to fit on to Bobbys high-top for the sun awning, I got round to fitting it today :)

And just to show you my other project, my 1972 Beetle.

Another bed?!?

With the good news recently, we decided we needed another bed for Chloe - she isn't big enough for the top bunk just yet.
Luckily, it wasn't just us thinking on this level, Paul and Gill had also had the same thought for us, and on Saturday they demonstrated a cab bunk in their Westy. In less than 24 hours we were the proud owners of a cab bunk of our very own :) so today was installation day.
You can purchase one of your very own here. It took about ten minutes to fit (including getting the tools out of the garage lol)

I recently won a trailer for my race car in Millom (Lake District).
It was obvious what was going to happen really wasn't it (I mean, who in their right mind buys a trailer 100 miles away lol).

Well being a member on a well known 'wild camping' site, it didnt take me long to work a list down to a few possibles and then ask for opinions, and we struck upon this beauty.......

From sitting in the van, Mountains to the right and behind us, beach and sea to the left and sand dunes in-front of us!!!! And hardly anyone to share it with in all the time we were there :)

Best add - 3G was perfect, well I managed to watch Eastenders haha

The 'reason' we went there;

But, best of all, can you imagine this on your door step? It was literally a two second walk to the beach (this pic was taken on my phone from the sliding door)

Front speakers

Ever since I put speakers in the rear, the front has sounded pants.
With a nice journey coming up, I decided to replace them with another set of FLI FU, this time 5.25inch and 120W
